Ocean City Bible Conference

Ocean City Bible Conference is a ministry of Ocean City Baptist Church in New Jersey, just a stone’s throw from the famous Ocean City Boardwalk and beach. You can read about the church’s history here (1893).

From the church’s website:

“Yet the church found that one of the biggest mission fields was right out its back door. Each year, thousands of tourists were flocking to the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City. So the church began a Summer Bible Conference that featured daily services throughout the summer season. These conferences featured outstanding Bible teachers and musicians. While the Summer Bible Conference no longer exists, something similar now takes place each September at the Ocean City Bible Conference.”

Pastor Cronk was one of those speakers who ministered at the Summer Bible Conferences. Here are some of the messages he preached there, graciously shared with me by his family and with the blessing of Ocean City Bible Conference.

This series of messages is the earliest collection I have on the website. Because of the age of the cassettes, the quality has degraded considerably. Two were completely unreadable and are not included here. Three are excellent. Most of them have a perceptible echo, the “B-side” of the cassette playing backwards.
